Junior Achievement of BC (JABC) is pleased to announce that Accenture is continuing their longstanding support for JABC business education programs for youth with a grant of $10,000. This funding will support Junior Achievement high school programs, JA Titan and two Company Program “After-School” Clubs. This brings Accenture’s support of JABC to approximately $100,000 since 2006 in addition to significant in-kind support.
The grant is part of Accenture’s Skills to Succeed initiative, which plans to equip 500,000 people around the world by 2015 with the skills to get a job or build a business. Accenture recently announced that it surpassed its original goal of equipping 250,000 people with skills by 2015, a result made possible by working with non-profit partners like Junior Achievement that deliver employment and entrepreneurship outcomes at scale.
