BMO Bank of Montreal Supports Business Education for Youth
June 23, 2014
Vancouver, British Columbia – Junior Achievement of British Columbia (JABC) is pleased to announce that BMO Bank of Montreal has donated $8,000 in support of business education programs for youth across BC. This generous contribution is in addition to the many hours that enthusiastic BMO employees have volunteered with JABC. Each year, BMO volunteers facilitate approximately 40 business education classes from Grades 5-12. This, along with their monetary contribution, will allow JABC to continue the spread of financial literacy and business education to BC’s youth.
“BMO is very pleased to throw in its support for Junior Achievement of British Columbia. We understand, as do many of our clients, the importance in bringing business education programs to students in the province,” says Dean Kirkham, Regional Vice President, Commercial Banking, Greater Vancouver for BMO Bank of Montreal.
Junior Achievement would like to thank BMO Bank of Montreal for their on-going support for many years. Their contribution this year will help guarantee that youth in BC continue to have access to Junior Achievement programs.
