JABC Alumna to Speak at BC CEO Awards
JA British Columbia (JABC) is pleased to announce JA Alumna Tahlia Ifada will speak about her student business venture at the 2017 BC CEO Awards on November 8, 2017 at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel in Vancouver.
Tahlia, currently in her first year of Commerce at the University of British Columbia, participated in a JA Company Program through Brittania Secondary School Business Club, three years in a row. This JA program empowers student teams to experience the excitement of planning and running their own small business venture.
In addition, she was a student orator at the 2016 Business Laureates of BC Hall of Fame Gala Dinner and Induction Ceremonies and her team, Bee Fresh, won the 2017 Celebrate Entrepreneurship Award worth $3,000.

Presented by Business in Vancouver, the BC CEO Awards is an annual gala dinner where honourees share their leadership lessons to an audience of Vancouver’s business community.
