What is Discover your Pitch?

Discovery Foundation’s Discover your Pitch, presented by JABC, is an exclusive investor pitch competition for B.C. high school students to take their business and presentation skills and knowledge to the next level.

What does Discover your Pitch involve?

Upon successful completion of JA Be Entrepreneurial or JA Company Program, top teams will be invited to refine their business ideas through their participation in our fundamentals of fundraising workshop and practice sessions.

Businesses may be a product or service. All businesses must be original, are of the student company’s own idea and developed within the parameters of JABC’s senior entrepreneurship programs. Business ideas may be subject to vetting to ensure they meet these requirements.

Teams from across B.C. will then pitch their business ideas to a panel of top B.C. business leaders for a chance to win cash prizes.

Who can participate?

Any B.C. students who have taken JA Be Entrepreneurial or JA Company Program and who have participated in the program competition. Top teams will then be invited to register for Discover your Pitch.

Student team registration for Discover your Pitch 2022 will open shortly.

Discover your Pitch is accessible to JA students anywhere in B.C. Virtual participation will be provided for all program components, including the finale.
