On February 26, 2019, JABC hosted the 2019 EFS@TRU (Economics for Success program held at Thompson Rivers University). 850+ Grade 10 students from ten different schools in three different school districts (SD73, SD74, SD83) attended.

With the help of over 50 dedicated volunteers from the Kamloops business community, JABC’s annual EFS@TRU conference helps Grade 10 students bridge the gap between high school and post-secondary education and careers. JABC’s mission for the conference is to help students identify their post-secondary goals and develop the tools to achieve them. JABC has expanded the event from 500 students in 2014 to over 850 students in 2019.
