Sheila Biggers, President & CEO of JABC, will then lead and moderate our panel discussion and Q&A which will feature BC thought leaders, Cindy Fagen, Managing Director for SAP Labs and Heather Butt-Paul, Director, Global HR Services for Finning, who will discuss emerging careers and where students today can soar tomorrow.

Speaker Bios

Rocky Ozaki is the visionary behind NoW of Work Inc. Having held executive roles in both large enterprise and startup tech, Rocky is a rare talent who truly understands the challenges companies face today. Rocky is deeply entrenched in the Canadian tech-sector having previously held the role of Vice-President Community & Head of Corporate Innovation for the BC Tech Association. He is being called upon all over North America to help companies build resilient businesses because of the impact of COVID-19.

Sheila M. Biggers is the President and CEO of JA British Columbia (Junior Achievement), a recognized leader in education programs for youth. Previously, she was Associate Dean for Development and Alumni Engagement at the UBC Sauder School of Business. With over 25 years of experience in the not-for-profit and public sectors, she is passionate about education and supporting youth. Sheila sits on a number of boards and committees including Take a Hike Youth at Risk Foundation, Quest University and UBC Sauder School of Business.

Heather Butt-Paul is a Human Resources professional by training, Heather brings her knowledge and experience in the HR world to manage Finning’s HR system globally. She manages a team of business application analysts to support its technology applications.

Cindy Fagen is Managing Director of SAP Labs Canada where she leads the strategic direction of SAP’s product development and innovation hubs in Vancouver, Montreal and Waterloo. Serving nearly 3,000 employees, Cindy channels 20 years of technology leadership, entrepreneurship, and sales experience. An entrepreneur and culture evangelist at heart, Cindy promotes an intrapreneurial mindset to spark best in class innovation. She proudly gives her time to advancing STEM education, female entrepreneurship and startup mentorship.
