To commemorate the JA Centennial, JA Worldwide has launched “I am JA” profiles of alumni who are serving social needs, creating local jobs, or otherwise improving the world around them.
Here in British Columbia, we know that there are thousands of JABC Alumni who are also improving the world around them. We want to hear from you!

Bruce Poon Tip Social entrepreneur Bruce Poon Tip joined the JA Company Program in Vancouver when he was just 14. Later he founded G Adventures, now the largest small-group travel company in the world, with offices in 28 countries and annual revenues of over $200 million.
Steven Wang Recently named to the Forbes 30 under 30 list, Steven Wang was involved with JA in Ontario. By age 17, Steven had founded a youth-empowerment initiative in Canada to address poverty, climate change, and other issues, and had started a locally directed micro-finance program in Kenya. He is currently attending Harvard Law School.
