We are very excited to announce Manny Padda as our new JABC Ambassador. In this important volunteer role, Manny will represent JA British Columbia across the province, increasing awareness of our organization and advocating our commitment to meet the educational needs of youth across the province. Passionate about mentorship and education, Manny has been a strong supporter of JA British Columbia over the past few years and embodies our purpose to “inspire, prepare and empower B.C. youth for lifelong success”.

Manny is the founder of New Avenue Capital (NAC) a private family office that brings together financial, human and impact capital for high-growth companies. As an entrepreneur and philanthropist, he is credited for recognizing talent, cultivating relationships and connecting change-makers. He is a highly-requested speaker, sits on multiple boards in the not-for-profit sector and has garnered many awards. Originally from Duncan, B.C.,  Manny is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Private Equity & Venture Capital Program and holds an MBA from Queen’s University.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to have Manny join us as a JABC Ambassador,” says Sheila Biggers, JABC President and CEO. “Manny espouses the values and characteristics we try to foster in all of our students. We are so very pleased to work with him to inspire B.C. youth to flourish, both in school and in life.”

Welcome to the JABC Team Manny!
