Educators: Thank you for joining our Investing Basics program on April 7, 2021

We debuted Investing Basics in a live 60-minute virtual program featuring the ten-minute video, broken down into short segments. Each segment was discussed by a panel of Coast Capital experts (below) and followed by a Q&A that gave students the unique opportunity to ask investment questions. View Program Flyer

I started with Coast Capital Savings 6 years ago straight out of university. With the goal of being a financial planner, I worked various roles within the company to gain financial experience and studied in my spare time to obtain my certified financial planning designation. I was born and raised in Richmond, then moved to Vancouver for several years before settling down in Tsawwassen with my wife and daughter.

I have been with Coast Capital Savings for 7 years and in the financial industry for 11. With my CFP designation, I’m able to help my members organize their wealth, prioritize their goals, and weather the financial storm of life. I was born in Beijing, China and moved to Vancouver with my parents when I was twelve. In my spare time, I love spending quality time with family and going for long walks along the seawall.

I started with Coast Capital Savings 15 years ago as a part-time teller. I knew where I wanted to go within the company and let the right people know of my goal to become a Financial Planner. In 2010 I wrote my final three hour exam and attained the ‘Certified Financial Planner’ designation. Along the way I got married, bought a house and had two wonderful boys.
