Everything from glass straws to tech apparel was up for sale at the 1st annual JA Company Program Showcase held outside the Vancouver Art Gallery on April 27-28th, 2019.

Many people dropped by the VAG outdoor plaza and purchased some unique hand-made products from 10+ student run companies.  These young entrepreneurs (Gr. 10 – 12 students with great ideas!) learned how to run their entrepreneurial ventures through the JA Company Program.

Student-run companies included:

Bottle B’eautique – handmade garments for water bottles

Simply Sprouts by Blossom – a practical and environmentally friendly herb kit

Spotlight – a light that fits into your bag

Palisades – an umbrella holder that can be attached to a backpack

Tech Apparel – a line of clothing that uses QR code technology

Joule Co. – classic pendant necklaces

Escential – handmade wellness candles with natural essential oils

West Coast Totes – a reflective tote bag with a unique Vancouver landscape design

MØD – a re-usable color changing travel mug

Luminate – a reflective bracelet designed for walking, running, or cycling safely in the dark

Last Straw – an environmentally friendly glass straw to replace the ordinary plastic straw

The JA Company Program is made possible thanks to these generous donors:
