An update on JA Programs and new online learning opportunities

With the recent announcement from the Government of BC regarding the immediate suspension of K-12 in-class instruction until further notice, we of course have placed all our in-class program deliveries on hold. We will be working with BC educators to ensure the continuation of our current online programs including Investment Strategies, Titan and Entrepreneurial Trades. As well, we will continue to work with volunteers and students to ensure the province-wide continuation of JA Company Program After-School through online communication platforms.

While we hope schools will resume operation this school year, please know we are working hard to transition many of our in-class programs to an online learning environment for students and BC educators to access outside of the classroom. View our current options at jabc.org/online-learning and feel free to share this link with your networks. Please note: we will continue to add many more new programs and tools over the coming weeks.

Your support is appreciated

As you know, we are a non-profit organization that has proudly provided programming to BC youth for almost 65 years. If you are able, please consider making a donation so we can fulfill new programming demands and continue to serve the students, educators and parents affected by school closures.

We here at JABC know the critical importance of education and want to ensure continued learning for BC students for the remainder of the school year. Every dollar counts. Please donate now.

We will keep you informed

During this time, we thank you and the extraordinary efforts of our health care, government and community organizations. Please stay safe. We will share more information and updates about our online learning plans in the coming days.
